Sunday chilling

Sunday, 29 april
cloudy.

Sunday was pretty much an easy day,
I stayed at home most of the time doing nothing (well, maybe blogging about saturday i guess).
But we did went out to get some good food.
My oma and Apa decided to send me back to my dorm which is located in Gwang ju later at night to avoid jam hours.

So we went out for dinner together and toured the neighbourhood until 8.
Originally we decided to eat  kalgoksu (칼국수) for dinner, but apa wasn't in a mood for some simple food, so we went out for duck BBQ instead =3

here is some photos =D

our little ye darm with apa waiting for le kogi (고 기 aka. the meat) to come XD

we had 오리훈제 (aka bbq duck) for dinner *W*

잘먹 겠 습 니 다 !! bon appetite \o/

oma ordered some soup, since I am not really good with spices, she helped me ordered a non-spicy one.
It taste pretty unique though! I would not say I dislike it =D

the original soup.
(its actually very red in reality)

le desert, my first korean ice cream.....its 붕 어 ice cream,
well in japan it might as well be called taiyaki =P

Sunny

This week I am living with my host family number 2.
So I am not staying in the dorm and they will bring me around to see special things yay !
Lucky they could speak a little english so we were able to get around quite peacefully.
Since I was here, I decided to take the opportunity to change my hairstyle.
Well,  I decided to change my aunty curls back to straight because I REALLY HATE DEALING WITH CURLS ;W; besides I do not look that good in it, I look like a mum LOL.

My oma was nice enough to help me translate everything but anyway I kind of understand a little korean now, so it was like a bonus (yay!). Anyway here is some photos,

I live in a smaller town comparing with Kwang Ju
so I go to a small hair saloon where most aunties go LOL.

The duration of straightening my hair was longer than expected oTL. It took around 5 hours or so, my oma was nice enough to wait for me for five hours so I will not feel so awkward and I will not be so lonely. :D She also help me went out to get lunch. My 2nd korean burger in korea!! Bulgogi burger!

Intereting thing is that they replaced the bread with rice....not bad also la. As long as taste better than mcdonalds then can di LOL. When you guys are lurking in korea or something, do come and try this *W*

Anyway after the hair saloon we went to herb island at night .........not a good idea at all D: at night u cannot really see much and all the goodies are almost sold out (em bread and cookies!)

my dong seng posing next to a post box >w< she is so adorable I could just bring her home
(wait whut, u ryugu rena is it ?)

me and ye dam ( my dongseng ) regarding the santa clone santa claus maybe u should continue reading below.
yay free pepermint tea tester on a chilly night !
nice shop is nice, the ceiling hunged lotsa herbs (well duh its herb garden) so it smells pretty pleasant
hey look its blue santa clone stalking people

okay, taking a walk in the garden never been this scary before, the accessories look scarier at night LOL especially the dolls hanging on the plants with their eye closed, they look as if they will suddenly open and scare you. HAHHAHAHAHAHHA
ohai garden, I believe you are much prettier in the morning ;)
The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Are Tiggers are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy...................
HEY LOOK ITS TIGGER!!
okay not just tigger i spot....snow white..... just sadder version of the original one.
I wonder whether Disney knows about this yet lol, if they did herb island is gonna get sue-ed really badly

Now on to the real topic, I know you all are curious of why there are so many santa clones around,
well thats because they have a themed garden called 'santamael', which i assume is a santa clone garden which has the most populated santa clones within it. (other parts of herb island has santa clones alright)

santamael (aka. santa clone land)
we wish you a merry christmas four months late~ (lol)
behold! santa clones! behind and beside!!!
santa clone is a loli con! so am I!! XD
 SANTA CLONE HOUSE!!!!
wow this santa clone looks very fierce XDDD
 this one looks very YJ
 this one really......YJ
now lets try putting a loli next to it.....OH NO YJ LEVEL AT 100
Well, I guess this santa clone is on a diet because he saw too much skinny people in korea :P
lol pretty dress is pretty *A*

We stayed in herb island not for long, most of the attractions are closed or not so attractive at night.
And, our dear little loli was feeling kinda hungry and tired so we left earlier for dinner. (by time we had dinner, it was already really late )

Dinner was galbi!!!!! yay!!!!

apa cooking galbi for us =D
 hahhahahah ye-darm looking tired.
lastly souvenirs from herb island to close the post.
Thanks oma and apa and everyone ;w;

Windy

This day, I attended swimming class for the first time in Korea.
Well in Malaysia I do swim but not so frequently.
It depends on my mood.
Honestly I dislike swimming and getting wet,
I think its because of my last word in my chinese name (炜) its has (火) at the side which means fire.
Which also explains why I love choosing fire type pokemons in most of my starters and almost all the pokemons I really love alot is fire type (aka. Charizard and Victini and Reshiram  orz)
no I am not into fengshui, I am just assuming so lol
awkward moments at the pool, not gonna empahsize on that so I am skipping it.
In korea, students have to take PE class trice a week in school and some would take 2 PE classes in a week with one day of swimming class instead.

The weather was a bit windy but the sky was brilliant blue, Sadly I was kinda blur so I did not take any photos. Well done, hapi well done >__>

Random pictures in class:

hey look its angry...b....WAIT ITS HUNGRY DAK (lol rip off much)
one of the places I love hanging out when I have no class to attend to

And next off, my class is in middle school.
I attend artclasses there every thursday.
From what I experienced, they kinda teach the students abtract art which I dislike braining about it.
Abstract art.....makes me forever jackie chan face pls LOL

Here is what I did during that class, we were instructed to random cut places and tape it together and get a paper sculpture. Those kids were unique and creative, they have many good works. too bad no camera in class. I made this wierd sculpure of sorts that I forever do not brain. The teacher says its a spoon/ fish/ telescope etc. But to me.....its paper orz (boring person is boring)

After that its just photos of my school randomly taken.

au revoir my comrade

Wednesday , 25th april 2012
Raining, heavily.

One of the crappy day I ever was in,
I fell down on the stairs when I was heading toward Kyung Hwa EB girls high and I landed on my butt.
Thanks to my school shoes which had less friction comparing with my korean fake dr martins which I adore alot.  No it did not hurt, just that my skirt and cardigan was soaked and was dirty.
I did brought a spare pair of pants, but it was left inside the Classroom. And the students were having a test so I could not retrieve it.

P/S: If you were wondering, apparently the test they are taking, I wasn't required to take. Its because my english was obviously too FABULOUS for it 8'D /is bricked

But well, looking at the bright side, lucky I did not wash my uniform a day before I fell lol! I was seriously considering to since I smell like kimchi chigae and what so ever the cafeteria served. And I wasn't hurt that bad. stairs can be a killer too if it were too steep no?

Okay, moving on to the main post.
Now let me introduce my comrade,
She is called Lea Martelleti,
She is a french exchange student in Kyung Hwa EB.
And She is leaving on the next day because she needs to have a surgery on her back  =(
I hope she gets well soon and our lives will crosspaths once again.
Even though we did not meet for a long time, its sure nice knowing you heheheh
Here is some photos of her farewell party the wonderful and thoughtful korean students made =)

lea is really a shy girl *chuckles*

Greeted in a dark candle lit room how romantic!
